ChainCatcher News: According to official information, DeFi protocol Linear Finance announced that it would cease operations, saying that despite the project's commitment to innovation and development over the years, it has failed to achieve sustainable returns, and Linear Finance has been facing increasing financial pressure except for a brief profit in early 2019/2020.

Projects are primarily funded by individual contributions from project owners and token liquidation, but this model is no longer viable. Binance's decision to delist the LINA token exacerbated the project's financial woes, causing its market cap to shrink by 65% and significantly reducing its remaining working capital.

As a result, the main stakeholders of the project jointly decided to end operations. The operations team will contact users with active positions as soon as possible and provide detailed timelines and guidance.
