ZK proofs are powerful, but also quite heavy.
Generating them feels slow and expensive too.
But @cysic_xyz are building something different.
A decentralised, hardware network for proof, generation and verification.
Here’s what you need to know👇🧵

2/ Compute, Not Just Consensus
Most chains focus on decentralising consensus.
@cysic_xyz is focused on decentralising compute instead, specifically the heavy lifting needed for ZK proofs.
Think of it like the GPU mining part for the ZK era - but more democratic, and way more efficient.

3/ Anyone Can Verify
Instead of one big prover doing all the work, @cysic_xyz allows anyone, from GPU farms to everyday laptops, to contribute compute power.
Tasks are split, assigned, and verified across a network of independent provers and light verifiers.

4/ Offload -> Verify -> Settle
Proofs don’t just have to be generated, they also need to be verified and settled on ETH most of the time.
That can be pretty costly and slow.
@cysic_xyz handles that too because it lets projects offload verification off-chain, then settle aggregated proofs on-chain (minimising gas)
5/ Proof-of-Compute In Action
Consensus is handled with CometBFT, a fast, finality type protocol.
But @cysic_xyz adds their own twist:
It rewards not just stake, but compute contributions. The more work you do, the more weight you carry in consensus.

6/ Dual Token Model
Two tokens so there’s two roles:
• $CYS is the native gas and reward token
• $CGT is the governance token you earn by proving/verifying
@cysic_xyz uses this model to balance the incentives for governance, compute, and staking.

@cysic_xyz 7/ Hardware Heart
A key part of the vision? Custom hardware.
@cysic_xyz isn’t just software, it’s designing ASICs that are purposely built for ZK proofs.
The goal is basically faster, cheaper, and greener (being proved at a global scale)
