Friends who know me well know that I am proficient in the art of survival and social engineering. When it comes to security, you can never be too careful. I saw the security-related narrative project Obol @Obol_Collective just launched on Binance alpha+ futures. I took a close look at their distributed validator technology (DVT). It's pretty impressive. Vitalik mentioned this technology in the Ethereum roadmap and even quoted OBOL multiple times. I did some research to understand what this is. In layman's terms, this technology allows multiple independent node operators to jointly manage a single Ethereum validator, significantly enhancing security and operational efficiency. Obol raised $21 million, backed by big names like Coinbase Ventures and Pantera. Their headquarters is in the US, and they are very compliant. They now protect over $1 billion in staked ETH with more than 800 independent node operators. This background and strength are quite impressive, beyond my previous understanding, like the elephant in the room. If an ETH staking ETF arrives in the future, this is indeed a very important infrastructure. It seems that projects in the ETH ecosystem are starting to gain attention for listing channels again? It seems like OBOL is the first in recent times.
